Paedophile Behind Junior Basketball Club's Success?
Richard Irving, a 51 year old paedophile, led Victoria's largest community sports club for almost 18 months before being arrested in March 2024 on charges of grooming a 14 year old girl online.
Despite his guilty verdict on May 26, he remained at the helm of Eltham Wildcats Basketball Club until June 11, when the club announced his "resignation" for personal reasons.
